At RSBC, we want every Welsh blind child, young person and their family to have the skills and confidence to live their life without limits.

We want to make sure that you have the support you need to ensure that happens. Wherever you are in England and Wales, we have a range of support and services to meet your needs. So if you are a young person, a parent or carer or other family member, please have a look at the activities, events and services we offer to support you and your family.

Our Welsh project

We’ve been fortunate to secure a grant from the National Lottery Community Fund Wales, which ensures that RSBC and its partners CWVYS and Wales Council of the Blind can provide vision impaired children and young people and their families with a range of support and activities right across Wales.

The project will run until August 2026, and is called Eye Connect Cymru. The project will ensure:

  • That children, young people and families have the support they need to feel more confident and thrive emotionally.

An adorable little girl being cuddled by her mum. The girl is light-skinned with long dark-blonde hair, worn in two pigtails. She has pink glasses and beige coat. Her mum is a light-sknned woman with light-brunette hair. She is wearing a black puffer-best and a white long-sleeved t-shirt. Both are smiling at the camera. Behind them is a blurred background with autumn trees.
